The merging includes:

1) The establishment of a common market between Singapore's trade market and Malaysia's trade market for:

-Where goods can be sold freely without taxes.

-Which will create more jobs.

- But Malaysia was reluctant to to establish the common market as they feared that goods manufactured in Malaysia would face competition with Singapore's.

- On agreement for establishing the common market, Singapore would have to contribute 40% of her yearly revenue to Kuala Lumpur.

- They will also grant Pioneer certs to which allowed new industries to enjoy privileges like 5-10 years of tax free days.

2) Borneo loan. The federal government needed financial help to build Sabah and Sarawak as they just included them into the fedration.

- They wanted M$50 mil

British was reluctant to grant Singapore independence because:
1) Singapore counld not survive on it's own economy back than.
2) British wa afraid that communism would take over as Singapore's population was mainly made up of Chinese from china which took over the mind set of equal wealth and demonstrations were made.
3) British needed Singapore's naval base, as this would protect the Britain's interest. They were afraid that Singapore would not let them use the naval base if they granted Singapore independence.

Malaysia did not want to merge because:
1) The number of Chinese would out number the amount of Malays.
2) There was a widespread of communist influence among Chinese in Singapore and Malaysia is strongly against communism.

Malaysia wanted to merge was mainly because:
1) They could keep an eye on the communist in Singapore so that communism do not take over Singapore and if so, they could have used Singapore as a base to take over other countries.
2) They were afraid that the PAP that was weak back than, will lose elections and next time when they lose, they might lose to a communist party and communism will take over.
3) They could expand the federation by including Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.

Singapore wanted to merge because:
1) They could gain independence.
2) They could gain raw material from Malaysia for Singapore's industries.

Gonna mug on these chapters. As for English Language i just gotta revise a little and i can obtain at least a pass! Sweet!

argh, yesterday was another bloody day. NOthing special. Hmmm N levels are coming Social studies paper are first up next would have to be English and last paper before the break is Chinese Language. ARGHHHH i suck at Chinese! (although i'm one)

3) I might need to keep revising a hell lot so that i do not forget everything before the papers.

Alright i haven't been blogging, my blog was dieing. Today went out to run with ros. It was fun. We ran from Yio chu Kang Stadium to old Peirce and than we went in to Peirce reservoir and walk in to the reservoir and kinda got lost, but anyways our senses were right:D We wondered in to the Island Country Club, we were prettaye lucky.

So i knew about her birthday celebration after i knew about my study session with my current study group.
It isn't nice to turn that amout of people to celebrate one person's birthday and further more prelims is very important to me. I have to say this even if i sound like zafirah. Prelims is the only exam that tells me what i have to improve on for my N levels. So i am really not able to attend her birthday. I wasn't online for the past few days in case my ex best friend did not know it. If i knew that she will not be surprised by my surprise on the day it self rather than the day before, i would not make myself pennyless now. So if this is how it ends. Whatever i still have prelims to do. Goodluck.

Anyways go on do your thing ex best friend, tell everybody. It is rather fine with me cos... yeah whatever. Lost of words. Another one of those 16years olds that you hated. I couldn't care less.
