Woke up about half past 3 to Jameston's message and not believing how late it was. I literally jumped out of bed, washed up and ran out of the house stumbling on shoes at my gate. hahaha. So work was really enjoyable today because all i had to do was just take care of 16 guests. They were Europeans and very very nice people compared to locals and Asians....most Asians cos some are nice. They are very polite and humorous people, always joking around and smiling and when they leave they would compliment your service and stuff. Oh and something interesting happened today.... While i was placing glasses on their table, i had to squeeze in between two guests and when i walked backwards to squeeze out of in between the two guests one of my glasses fell and broke. I was so god damn embarrassed but it was all made better when they clapped and cheered. I had no idea what was going on until one of them explained that seeing a glass break and sparkle is a good omen. Cool huh?! To Chinese they'll go like OMG but to these people....it's just positivity! So nice people are all around the world but it's just that westerners are mostly the nicer ones. So to me I'd rather believe the western superstition than the Chinese ones although I'm Chinese. So next time when a glass breaks around you just clap and cheer....it makes the person who breaks it feel so much better. :D
