zero.I wail like a cry baby. I crawl like spiderman, i fly like superman, i drive like batman. I live in wonderland. Rugrats is my friend, so is peter pan.
So.....I seriously wonder why Singaporeans wear holy stuff on themselves if they do not possess the right attitude or character. No offense or not being biased to any religion but people wear crosses, "Tudongs" and Buddha pendants and they are all vulgar and rough and rude and if i want to make a list i could do an extremely long one.
As one of my friend has said, when one who decides to wear a "tudong" and one who commits to wear a "tudong" permanently would mean that they are ready to commit. But from what i see, they are just being forced to do so.
In my opinion, doing good deeds is not to boot lick the god or to earn a place in heaven by currying god's favour. This person may show an outward sign and recognition of helpfulness but nah-uh, this person just wants a reward which is a place in heaven reserved for him/herself.
Seriously, doing good deeds should be from the heart and in the spirit and not from the mind. I think thus thats why i am a free thinker. I do good deeds but i do not look forward to any god reserving a place for me in heaven. I believe that these people needs help. Simple deeds like buying packets of tissues from the needy will do them a great favor. So why not? As simple as donating a dollar is a good deed from the heart and spirit. One should never think about going to heaven when doing good deeds. Never.
So why wear all those holy stuff and stay rude and vulgar and all. Wear it when you're ready not because you're asked to or you want to go to a fabulous place like heaven. Don't go round doing good deeds to impress girls or whatsoever. It's always a turn off to see such people around.
